this is a question i should know the answer to but i just want to verify.

In order to have sli you must have 2 of the same nvidia cards, regardless of brand names as long as they are essentially the same card it doesn't matter the brand.

Example:

2 gtx 295 cards

one is bfg the other is evga! The run the same drivers so it doesn't matter they are from 2 different companies. Correct?

I believe it should work yes. Not 100% on that though.
